After all the off-the-field upheaval in the last week it was back to action as the Bluebirds drew 2-2 with Derby County at Ninian Park. Did they look like a team with worries off the field? How did they let Derby back into the game? But with other teams faltering around them does it matter? Let us know what you think.

Wales turn things around

Following the humiliating 5-1 defeat by Slovakia, Wales answered some of their critics last night with a 3-1 victory over Cyprus with goals from Jason Koumas and under-fire Welsh strikers Robert Earnshaw and stand-in captain Craig Bellamy.
So was John Toshack vindicated by refusing to ask the likes of Gary Speed and Robbie Savage out of retirement? Or will the Wales manager still need some of his Premiership stalwarts when the Euro 2008 campaign resumes next March?

Worst Wales home display for 100 years?

Wales suffered their worst home defeat since 1908 when Slovakia humbled them 5-1 at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday. What went wrong?
Are injuries to blame or are Wales simply not up to it? Now with Cyprus coming up on Wednesday in Cardiff, should John Toshack turn to the likes of the retired Gary Speed and John Hartson and try and tempt them back into the international fold? Or with qualification for Euro 2008 now looking impossible, should Tosh stick with the youngsters?

Wales assistant boss Roy Evans has praised the form of Cardiff City midfielder Paul Parry and admitted he is one of the main candidates to replace the injured Ryan Giggs for the Euro 2008 qualifying game against Slovakia on Saturday at the Millennium Stadium.
Echo columnist David Giles has told Toshack he should pick the in-form Parry and his Bluebirds colleague Joe Ledley for the clash. Do you agree?

Craig Bellamy is John Toshack's shock choice as Wales captain for the Euro 2008 double-header against Slovakia and Cyprus.
This is despite the Liverpool striker being in court next week on assault charges. Is Bellamy the right man to replace the injured Ryan Giggs?
Will the off-the-field problems affect him or will the extra responsibility of leading Wales inspire Bellamy?
