Cardiff City manager Dave Jones was in charge at Southampton when Jim Magilton was a Saints' player.
Now Jones and Magilton will square up from opposite dug-outs in a crucial Championship match at Portman Road.
If Cardiff City win they will be a point behind Ipswich with a game in hand and right in contention for a play-off spot. An Ipswich victory would be a major blow for the Bluebirds.
