Rae's strike earns City hard-earned draw

GAVIN Rae's goal earned Cardiff City a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town at Portman Road tonight.

Man of the match Rae struck to put City ahead after Aaron Ramsey carved open the Ipswich defence.
Then substitute Jordan Rhodes struck with an equaliser, while Danny Haynes hit the net only to see his effort ruled out because of a foul by Jason De Vos.
The Bluebirds finished with more injuries as Tony Capaldi and Joe Ledley limped out of the match.
"We will assess our injured players on Thursday," said manager Dave Jones.
City have still not won at Portman Road since 1946-1947.
The team flew back to Cardiff from Southend tonight and are back in training tomorrow (Friday) for the Blackpool match.
